Able Sail/Handi-Voile is a not for profit organization dedicated to providing sailing opportunities in Shediac Bay to the disabled in the Southeastern New Brunswick region.

Able Sail Toronto

Able Sail Toronto operates out of National Yacht Club.



The Association québécoise de voile adaptée (AQVA) program is operated out of the
Pointe-Claire Yacht Club. They offer recreational, instructional and racing programs to individuals and groups.

Their annual Coupe du Québec regatta is very popular.

This program runs out of the Burlington Sailing & Boating Club at Lasalle Park Marina in Burlington, ON.

For over 30 years, ASABC in Vancouver (formerly DSABC) has been providing opportunities for people with physical disabilities to experience recreational and competitive sailing in fully accessible sailboats.

NCASA operates in partnership with the Nepean Sailing Club, serving the Ottawa - Gatineau Region.


Queen City Disabled Sailing

The Queen City Disabled Sailing Club (formerly known as Wind on my Wings) runs their program on Lake Wascana in downtown Regina. Their program is available to people of varying ages and broad range of disabilities. It gives them an opportunity to experience and participate recreationally, or to train for competitive sailing.


Quinte Sailability

Quinte SailAbility is a sailing school for persons with a physical or intellectual disability, regardless of age or degree of disability. Through the use of technology, barriers are eliminated, providing the therapeutic benefits of sailing on one’s own. Our core product is self esteem and confidence.  Quinte Sailability was founded in 2001 and serves the Greater Bay of Quinte Region.

Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron is the host of this Sail Able program.


Y-Knot Sailing

Y-Knot offers adaptive sailing for all on Lake George, New York. A program of YMCA Camp Chingachgook, Y-Knot Sailing is a US Sailing Accredited Adaptive Sailing Center, and a US Sailing First Sail location. We sail on Martin 16s and Sonars, and have a fully accessible waterfront center and dock, complete with two Jenny lifts to facilitate wheelchair transfers into the boats.
